
Benjamin Stæhli
Benjamin Stæhli is an architect with extensive experience in both academia and real-world projects. He served as the scientific team leader at the National University of Singapore and the Federal Institution of Technology in Switzerland. He spent five years in Ethiopia, where he coordinated the implementation of a grassroots model town for farmers before joining the Arthur Waser Foundation in 2017. As a member of the Silentmusic Collective, Benjamin focuses on researching and lecturing about educational and communal architecture. Recently, Benjamin and Steve Lawrence co-launched a book and an online tool called 'Montessori Architecture — A Design Instrument'. This tool is designed to aid in the global design of schools that follow the Montessori educational approach.
