Early Learning Specialist, Montessori (Contract)

Brightwheel is seeking an experienced Early Learning Specialist to build a proprietary set of Montessori learning standards for use within the brightwheel Learning platform. The primary goal of this project is to further support our Montessori programs in documenting early learning across a spectrum of categories or elements - using best practices from the Montessori Method. You will also have the opportunity to support brightwheel in better serving our Montessori community through user research, internal training and strategic partnerships.

What You'll Do:
1. Build a unique set of Montessori learning standards using known best practices and brightwheel’s product format requirements
2. Validate proposed standards set against third-parties through either research or direct partnership (AMS, AMI, etc.)
3. Test and iterate on learning standards as needed using internal and customer feedback (i.e. beta)
4. Support and develop internal understanding of Montessori programs and customers through additional user research and documentation

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Montessori teaching experience
  • 3+ years of Montessori and/or ECE curriculum design
  • 2+ years of Montessori program administration
  • B.A. in Early Childhood Development, Education, or related.
  • AMS, MACTE, IMS certification or equivalent (Early Childhood Level min.)
  • Experience as a Montessori or ECE trainer or program consultant
  • Experience leading detailed projects from start-to-finish
