Seeking Applicants for an Upper Elementary Guide – Chesapeake Montessori School in Annapolis, Maryland

Chesapeake Montessori School (CMS) in Annapolis, MD, is seeking applicants for an upper elementary position for the 2018/19 school year.  We serve children who are 18 months – 14 years of age.  We offer a continuum comprised of one Young Child Community, three Primary Classrooms, one Lower Elementary Classroom, one Upper Elementary Classroom, and an Adolescent Program.  We operate on eleven total acres with open fields, woods, and nature trails, as well as a separate farm-based campus for our adolescents.

The right candidate must have AMI training, be patient, have a love of children, and bring a positive attitude to the work they do, including being a team player with and among colleagues. Most importantly, we seek a cosmic educator who is in love with the universe they wish to invite children to explore, discover, inquire, and wonder about. Our team of faculty has a desire to implement authentic Montessori learning environments at every level we serve.
