Edinburgh Montessori Arts School are currently seeking skilled and compassionate ‘enlightened generalists’ for our two roles with our composite 6-12 class. Working alongside our experienced Montessori guides and Creative Arts educators you will support the class in all areas of their work. You will have 6-12 training and education background that allows you to register with the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTC). We will consider trainees for the Assistant post or 3-6 guides with an interest in training at elementary level.

You will have a strong knowledge of the ways in which the elementary Montessori program parallels other national curriculums, and you will be ready to train in this aspect of working with 6-12’s in Scotland. You will welcome the opportunity to work in a neurodiverse, progressive school with genuine vision; amongst dedicated educators. You will be someone who embraces possibility, is an active practitioner in outdoor learning, has excellent IT skills and enjoys being part of a growing community.

Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish are preferred. Permission to work within the UK essential.
