LEAP International Montessori School, LLC is growing and searching for a warm and compassionate, Primary trained Montessori teacher to take over an existing, normalized small classroom, with a fantastic and experienced assistant. This is a lead teaching position, taking over a well-loved classroom, that the current lead will be retiring from. The ideal candidate will be Montessori trained and enjoy working in an indoor and outdoor environment. This person would consider themselves to be a team player with a pleasant personality; highly detail oriented, leads a “clean” life-style, drug-free, enjoys writing, is punctual, flexible, has the legal ability to work in the United States, and must have a clean driving record.

LEAP is an authentic Montessori School, in its 9th year. We currently serve children 3 to 12 years old and we are growing! We are a warm community Montessori school intent on serving our children and community with kindness, compassion, and a commitment to authentic Montessori pedagogy. We offer a competitive salary ($35,000-70,000 depending on education and experience) + benefits. Our school also qualifies as a working site for the ECECD scholarship program and we fully support this program and our own staff’s continuing education goals. This is truly an ideal position for a newly trained teacher who wants to take over an existing classroom and make it their own.

For the right candidate, we may also be interested in sponsoring a teacher (who already possesses a bachelor's degree) to attend Primary training.
