Anami Montessori School, in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an AMI-trained elementary teacher for the 2024-25 school year. If you would like to teach the way you were trained, this may be the school for you!

Anami is a privately owned, AMI school with an AMI-trained founder/director. The wooded campus backs onto a 120-acre county park. Anami has two primary classes and one 6-12 elementary class, all well-established and led by teachers dedicated to carrying out Dr. Montessori’s principles. (The current teachers’ average tenure at Anami is 15 years.) After 38 years of serving children, and staying true to AMI principles, Anami is proud to be an intimate, nurturing community. Each fully stocked classroom has an ample annual materials budget.

With a temperate climate, Charlotte is culturally diverse, within an easy drive of either the mountains or the beach, is the home of a large international airport, and has an outdoor-minded population.

A successful candidate is dedicated, a hard-working team player, and able to operate in the classroom without undue supervision. Prior experience and facility in speaking Spanish would also be a plus (though are not requirements).
