Mater Amoris Montessori School, Ashton

Mater Amoris Montessori School is located on a 13-acre country campus in Ashton, Maryland. We are a school grounded in a rich history of serving families in the community for over five decades. Adherence to AMI standards while guiding children on their path to becoming global citizens is at the core of our mission.

We are currently in search of an Elementary Guide to add to our devoted team. Successful candidates will have an AMI Elementary diploma and, at minimum, a Bachelor's degree. At least three years of classroom experience, preferably in a Montessori environment, is required.

Individuals wishing to be on staff at Mater Amoris Montessori School must demonstrate an ability to work as part of a dynamic and diverse team. Guides should be skilled at supporting the holistic development of children in their care, should be able to adapt lessons and learning experiences to meet the needs of the children, and should participate in ongoing monitoring of student growth and development. Strong communication skills, a commitment to ethical behavior, and a collaborative nature are key to building relationships with children, parents, and co-workers and are required of all members of the Mater Amoris team.
