Her Royal Highness Opens the 29th International Montessori Congress

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the 29th International Montessori Congress on 3 August 2023.

The delegation included Prince Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Maha Vajiralongkorn Worarachaphakdi, and Sirikit Nee Peerayaphat. They were joined by Mr. Chuti Krairiksh, Minister of Social Development and Human Security; Mrs. Apinya Chomphumas, Director-General, Department of Children and Youth Affairs; Mrs. Kanneka Butt, President of the Montessori Association of Thailand; Mr. Alain Tschudin, AMI President; Ms. Lynne Lawrence, AMI Executive Director; Mr. Andre Roberfriod, AMI Global Ambassador and organising committees.

The 29th International Montessori Congress was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok on 2-5 August 2023 with over 700 delegates from 57 countries in attendance.
