Overview of AMI Courses and Levels
AMI Courses are run by AMI Trainers in AMI Affilitated Training Centres and Host Organisations around the world. If you are looking to become a Montessori Teacher, the first step is to decide which age level you would like to work with. Below are the different age levels at which you can take an AMI Teacher Training Course:
- 0-3 years
- 3-6 years
- 0-6 years
- 6-12 years
- 12-18 years
There exists a variety of different types of AMI Training Courses available, please see below for the different types of courses:
- Diploma
- Certificate / Orientation
- Refresher
- Workshop
In addition to Teacher Training Courses, other courses are also available, for example, Montessori Sports, Montessori Administrators (for existing of aspiring School Leaders) Course, Montessori for Dementia and Ageing and Parent Engagement Workshops.
AMI Diploma Courses

Once you have found an AMI Course that you are interested in, please contact the Training Centre/Host Location directly for information on the programme, fees, schedules, etc. They may also be able to advise you on housing, visa requirements, and additional relevant information.
