Barbados Montessori School is seeking a full time AMI-certified Montessori 3-6 Teacher to join our new small school on the West Coast of Barbados.

Barbados Montessori School seeks to provide a truly exceptional education experience in which intellectual, artistic, spiritual, and social development is at its heart. The school is designed around the ex-pat community needs of Barbados. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic and high-end education offering in the stunning location of Barbados. In its first year the school will cater to two Nursery classes of 6 to 10 children.

Qualifications:

• Montessori Early Childhood Certification (AMS or AMI) or or the willingness to pursue this qualification
• Three or more years of experience in a Primary Montessori environment
• Highly organized and self-motivated team player
• Native English-speaking candidates are primarily sought
• Multicultural experience or international exposure
• Background in school administration, finance, non-profits, entrepreneurship, or marketing is a plus

The ideal candidate should be highly adaptable and open to filling a variety of roles based on the school’s needs.
