Lead Montessori Elementary Teacher (Murrayfield).

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Elementary Guide to lead a class of 6-10 year olds in our Montessori school in the leafy Murrayfield area of Edinburgh from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, who will help shape the future of our school which opened in March 2023. The Lead will be responsible for the preparation and daily running of our small elementary class, ensuring that it meets the needs of children in this plane of development. They will also be a mentor to the Montessori teaching assistant, guiding them in their support role, and liaising with peripatetic teachers regarding lessons on their specialist subject. Montessori Elementary level training is essential and experience of working in a similar role is desirable. Strong communication skills and a professional approach are required.

This position is full time during term time, 8am to 4 pm Monday to Friday with admin time to plan lessons on a Friday from 12.45pm and at least one other afternoon each week.
