Ecole Montessori, Suisse Romande

A bilingual Montessori school located in French-speaking Switzerland is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a dual position: 50% Montessori Educator (ages 6–12) and 50% School Leadership.

This role is ideal for an experienced Montessori guide who wishes to stay close to the children while also taking an active part in the school’s organisation and development. You will work in a warm, respectful environment and collaborate closely with a committed team to ensure high pedagogical standards and a consistent Montessori approach.

Responsibilities – Montessori Educator (50%)

• Guide a mixed-age 6–12 class with authenticity, structure and care
• Prepare and maintain a calm classroom environment and Montessori materials
• Observe students, support independence, and nurture positive social dynamics
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families
• Participate in team meetings, events and school projects

Responsibilities – Leadership (50%)

• Support daily school operations, coordination and planning
• Contribute to pedagogical consistency across classrooms
• Assist with internal communication, scheduling and organisation
• Help strengthen the school’s vision, quality standards and long-term growth

Required Profile

• Montessori diploma for ages 6–12 (AMI preferred)
• Proven classroom experience and strong leadership mindset
• Excellent organisational skills, reliability and initiative
• Fluent English and French
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
• Experience with bilingual settings and parent partnerships will be considered an asset.
