Montessori Smile is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Teacher for our Lower Elementary (6–9) Montessori classroom to join our private Montessori school in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

Start Date: August 24, 2026.
Location: 1150 19th St, Brandon, MB, Canada.
Position Type: Full-time, permanent.

Position Overview:

The Lead Teacher will guide a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom of up to 20-30 students, creating and maintaining an authentic Montessori learning environment in alignment with AMI principles. The role includes lesson planning, classroom leadership, student assessment, and collaboration with families and colleagues to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements:

• AMI Montessori Elementary certification
• Experience in a Montessori Lower Elementary classroom preferred
• Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to Montessori philosophy and child-centered education
• We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Canada. Applicants from outside Canada must demonstrate French language proficiency, which supports eligibility for expedited immigration processing.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Permanent employment contract
• Four (4) weeks paid vacation annually
• Additional unpaid holidays may be taken upon request
