Sydney Montessori School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Montessori Primary Teacher to join our Primary team in a full-time, permanent position commencing Term 2, 2026 (Monday 20 April 2026, or by negotiation).

This is an opportunity to work within an authentic Montessori learning environment alongside experienced and passionate educators committed to child-centred education.

The successful applicant will guide students within our EC/Primary environment, supporting each child’s development across social, intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual domains in accordance with Montessori philosophy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and maintaining a rich indoor and outdoor Montessori learning environment
• Guiding and monitoring individual student learning and progress
• Delivering the Montessori curriculum alongside NESA curriculum requirements
• Observing, assessing and documenting student development
• Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
• Collaborating with colleagues to plan for individual student needs and outcomes
• Contributing positively to the life of the school community
