Riselva School, Castel Giorgio

We are Riselva School, a small and growing educational project based in the Umbrian countryside, near Orvieto.

We are currently looking for a Head Educator (3–6), an English speaker, to join us and help shape the foundation of our classroom. This is an early-stage project, so the role is about co-creating it from the beginning.

The person we are looking for will play a central role in:

• Preparing and setting up the Montessori environment
• Establishing the classroom culture and rhythm
• Developing the educational path together with the founders

Our approach combines Montessori education with outdoor learning, with a strong connection to nature, the seasons, and a calm, respectful pace of childhood.

We are looking for someone who:

• English speaker
• Has solid experience in a 3–6 Montessori environment
• Holds an AMI 3–6 diploma (preferred) or other Montessori training
• Is independent, thoughtful, and enjoys building something from the ground up
• Feels aligned with nature-based and experiential education

The position is based in Castel Giorgio, Umbria, in a peaceful rural setting with access to forests, olive groves, and open land.
