An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Montessori-trained Primary Teacher to join our small, thriving Montessori school on the beautiful island of Mahé, Seychelles, commencing January 2027.

We are seeking a passionate, creative and dedicated educator to guide a mixed-age class of 16 children (ages 6–9), fostering independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori practice.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking both a rewarding classroom position and the opportunity to develop into a future school leader.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds an AMI or equivalent Montessori Elementary (6–12) qualification and school experience.
• Leadership qualifications are an advantage.
• Is fluent in spoken and written English.
• Has a thorough understanding of authentic Montessori philosophy and practice.
• Can confidently integrate Montessori principles with the British Curriculum.
• Creates a calm, stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.
• Has a passion for environmental education and fostering children's connection with nature.
• Enjoys working within a diverse, international community.
• Has the vision, enthusiasm and leadership potential to join the school's future leadership team.
