The Association Montessori Internationale was founded by Maria Montessori more than 90 years ago, to continue the legacy of her work. Montessori Education supports the development of the whole child, and is an educational approach that champions the human rights of each child.
In March 2020, BBC StoryWorks filmed AMI teacher training in action at the Montessori Centre of Minnesota, USA, where they have been training Montessori teachers for more than 45 years.
