Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program offers a Montessori Early Childhood classroom. This program, now in its infancy and only one year old, provides an opportunity for a driven individual to shape and develop the program, leaving a lasting impact on its future. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori-qualified teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori-based lessons that promote curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the holistic development of children aged 3 to 6.
- Use Montessori materials and techniques to facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive community.
- Maintain an organized and stimulating classroom environment that reflects Montessori principles.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Montessori (AMS / AMI) credential from a MACTE-affiliated Teacher Education Program is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of lead teaching experience in a Montessori setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English is required.
