Das Montessorihaus Wörgl, Wörgl

"Das Montessorihaus Wörgl” was founded in 2012 and runs a toddler group (0-3), a children's house (3-6) and a school (6-12 and 12-15). We are a member of the Austrian Montessori Association and a placement site for internships and observations. 

We are looking for: 

• A trained AMI elementary guide for a well-functioning 6-12 classroom 
• English or German native or fluent in English and/or German 
• For English Natives: Highly motivated to convey English to non-native speakers 
• Good communication skills with children and adults alike 
• Passion and commitment to Montessori education

This position will incorporate various tasks and responsibilities such as: 

• Give presentations according to the Montessori curriculum 
• Support students in their independent workflow after presentations 
• Maintain the prepared environment 
• Support students during chore time 
• Lead circle activities 
• Accompany and support students when doing going-outs 
• Attend weekly team meeting 
• Give feedback on observations of students 
• Document your lessons and observations in a computer-based documentation system (MRX) on a regular basis 
• Participate in school events such as excursions, festivals etc.
