Joliet Montessori School has been serving children ages 2.5-15 and their families since 1966!

We are seeking an experienced and energetic educator to join our faculty as an Adolescent Guide to work in our Adolescent Program with children ages 12-15 in the 2027-2028 school year. We are also open to this person stepping into an Elementary assistant role in 2026-2027 as we reopen our adolescent program and prepare our elementary students and families for this next chapter in our journey.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related area plus one of the following:

• AMI 12-18 diploma
• AMI Adolescent Orientation Certificate with a requirement to obtain the AMI 12-18 diploma within the first two years of employment
• AMI, AMS, or other Elementary diploma/certificate plus experience working with elementary and/or adolescent students, with a requirement to obtain the AMI 12-18 diploma within the first two years of employment
