Assistant Head of School
Position Description

The Assistant Head of School works in tandem with the Head of School, focusing on supporting students, staff, and families, and providing community and programmatic leadership. Across all domains of responsibility, the Assistant Head of School:

• embodies the mission of the school and articulates the mission for all aspects of the school's programs
• fosters the traditions, relationships and practices that determine the school's climate and culture
• enthusiastically assists where needed
• in the absence of the Head of School, is responsible for the overall management of the school

The Assistant Head of School is a pedagogical leader who collaborates with all program, administrative, and grounds/facilities personnel and performs his/her services under the direction and supervision of the Head of School.
