Montessori Cambutal Learning Center in Cambutal, Panama is seeking an AMI-trained Montessori 12–18 Guide to support the development of our growing Adolescent Program, beginning with the Middle School level (ages 12–15). Start date: July 27, 2026.

Montessori Cambutal is a small bilingual Montessori school serving children from early childhood through elementary and now expanding into adolescence. Our Middle School program began in January 2026 and currently includes three students ages 12–13: two Spanish-speaking students learning English and one native English-speaking student. The students are engaged and already participating in project-based learning.

This role offers an opportunity for an educator interested in program development, interdisciplinary teaching, and guiding a small group of adolescents within a supportive school community.

Responsibilities include leading and developing the Middle School program (ages 12–15), guiding students across core subject areas within an integrated Montessori framework, supporting project-based and community-based learning, fostering independence and collaboration, and contributing to the continued development of the adolescent program.

Qualifications include an AMI Montessori 12–18 diploma, comfort teaching across subject areas, and interest in developing a young program. Bilingual English–Spanish ability is preferred but not required.

Cambutal is a small coastal community on Panama’s Azuero Peninsula known for its natural beauty, outdoor lifestyle, and close-knit international and local community.
