  • Create a safe engaging and nurturing learning environment for children and staff
  • Oversee daily school operations ensuring compliance with state licensing and Montessori standards
  • Manage budgets and financial planning in collaboration with the owner
  • Develop implement and manage marketing strategies to grow enrollment and build community awareness

Staff Development & Support

  • Hire mentor and inspire a team of Montessori educators and staff
  • Conduct regular teacher meetings provide feedback and ensure ongoing professional development
  • Support staff in curriculum planning classroom management and parent communication

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Serve as the face of the school building strong relationships with families
  • Guide parents through the enrollment process addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Facilitate school events parent meetings and open houses to foster engagement

Educational Excellence

  • Maintain relationships with local private and public schools to align expectations for students
  • Ensure compliance with Montessori accreditation standards and state regulations
  • Stay informed on the latest early childhood education trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Must meet or exceed DCFS Director requirements
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferably in administration
  • Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
  • Background in Montessori education or willingness to embrace the philosophy
  • We will provide Montessori training if you do not already have it
