Classroom Leadership & Teaching

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with families by communicating regularly about student progress.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide progress reports to discuss child development.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to create a supportive learning environment at school and at home.

Staff Development & Team Collaboration

  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers, ensuring a cohesive teaching team.
  • Collaborate with staff members to create enriching curriculum experiences.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Montessori accreditation standards.
  • Maintain student records and progress documentation.
  • Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures to provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • **Montessori Certification **from an accredited Montessori training center desired - willing to train.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of full-time teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
