Role Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Consultant in gifted/talent development to advise on the design and execution of a modern “Polgár-inspired” educational program. The family’s chosen domain of mastery is Speak–Think–Lead: a deliberate blend of oratory, emotional intelligence, probabilistic reasoning, daily music practice, and emerging AI fluency. This is not a teaching or childcare role. It is an architect-level position to help guide a a long-term program of deliberate practice and structured talent development. This person will be working in conjunction with an in-home educator and the parents. Above all, the work must remain fun and engaging for the children — ensuring that playfulness, joy, and curiosity are embedded in every element of the program. Learning is fun!
Responsibilities
- Consult with parents and the in-home educator to design ladders and milestones for oratory, EQ/psychology, probability/math, music, and proprioception.
- Translate the family’s vision into a multi-year progression map with measurable outcomes.
- Train and mentor the local in-home educator to deliver scaffolding.
- Review progress periodically and recommend course corrections.
- Provide introductions to domain-specific specialists when deeper expertise is needed.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in developing young talent.
- Deep familiarity with gifted education, deliberate practice, and child development research.
- Comfort designing cross-disciplinary frameworks that integrate EQ, communication, and reasoning.
