Nanny & Housekeeper – Oud Zuid, Amsterdam

We are a warm, active family of two adults and a 6-year-old bilingual daughter (English/German), seeking a dedicated nanny to join our household. The most important quality we value is a Montessori mindset : someone who fosters independence, curiosity, and self-confidence in our daughter while creating a nurturing, balanced home environment.

About Our Daughter: She attends the British School (08:30–15:15), enjoys ballet, piano, painting, swimming, and playdates. We are looking for a long-term companion (3–5 years).

Role & Responsibilities:

Childcare: Montessori-inspired guidance, school drop-offs/pick-ups, homework support, age-appropriate activities and outings, meal prep, travel packing, 
emotional support, and safety oversight.

Household: Maintain a tidy, organized, and smoothly running home, laundry, cooking, and coordination with other household staff.

Flexibility: 6 days/week, including 2 evenings, with occasional early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and international travel with the family.

Candidate Profile:

Montessori mindset is essential with previous childcare experience.

Warm, attentive, proactive, and down-to-earth.

Fluent in English; German a plus.

First Aid/CPR certified, EU work permit required; driver’s license a bonus.

At least two references from previous employers.

Contract & Benefits:

Live-in, private accommodation, 35–45h/week, unlimited contract.
