A family in Marbella, Spain is looking for a skilled teacher to teach their 2 children at home.

Job Description

Developing a Montessori based Curriculum for each of the two children, guiding mum with supporting the younger child within the work cycle.
English as a first language with Spanish as a second language preferred, however not mandatory.
Planning lessons through observation, ensuring steady progression in learning, whilst always ensuring the child’s emotional needs are met. The joy of learning is the primary objective.
Mentoring and offering guidance to help both children reach educational objectives across all areas of learning.
Creating art and general work portfolios, left in the environment for parents to pursue.
Maintaining paperwork and reports on the child's learning outcomes.
Working alongside mum to identify needs, effective and honest communication is key.
Preparation and cleaning of the Montessori environment / materials (day end) to ensure complete readiness for the following day (there will be time allocation for this).
Creation of a nurturing, safe, stimulating and orderly environment that empowers both children to excel, bearing in mind the age difference and differing interests. The children are always encouraged to display respect and care for their environment, themselves and each others.
Applicants must have an EU work permit.
