St. Croix Montessori & World School – Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands

St. Croix Montessori & World School (STXM) is seeking a full-time AMI-trained Elementary Montessori Guide (children ages 6 - 12 years old) to join our expanding school community. Our school serves children ages 18 months to 8th grade through an authentic Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum (and we are growing by one grade each year).

The ideal candidate is a reflective, collaborative educator who values independence, order, and curiosity in the prepared environment. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining a calm, joyful classroom; presenting Montessori lessons with precision and care; observing and documenting student progress; guiding an assistant; and fostering strong, respectful relationships with families.

Located on the island of St. Croix, our school integrates environmental stewardship, service learning, and island culture into everyday experiences. We value educators who model patience, integrity, and professionalism while contributing to a supportive team of AMI and IB teachers.

Requirements: AMI Elementary Diploma (or in training), local background check, bachelor’s degree preferred, CPR/First Aid certification, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
