31st International Montessori Congress and Celebration of AMI’s 100th Anniversary
The 31st Montessori International Congress and 100th Anniversary celebration of the founding of Association Montessori Internationale will take place in the Netherlands. The Congress is scheduled to start with a Welcome Reception on the evening of 6th April and close on 9th April, 2029.
The event will be a significant education event and comes at a pivotal moment. Neuroscience and child development research offer increasing evidence that Maria Montessori’s educational philosophy offers lasting academic, social and wellbeing benefits. Internationally renowned speakers will explore the positive contribution that Montessori philosophy has already made to the world and consider its potential to transform education and society over the next 100 years.
Montessori is for everyone, everywhere, all of the time. The core principles span generations, are effective from inner cities to the remotest regions, and offer a route to world peace. The Congress schedule will interest educators, policy and decision makers, parents, businesses, social care leaders, and anyone interested in building a better society.
Further announcements about the event will be made over the coming months.
