Montessori Teachers - Participate in Research

Thursday 27th April 2023

In a world that increasingly becomes noisier, experiencing silence is of great value. More than a hundred years ago Maria Montessori already uncovered the benefits of silence and integrated the so-called silence game and silence lesson in the Montessori environments.

A small research team from the University of Louvain, Belgium, wants to find to what extent, and how often, today’s Montessori teachers incorporate the Silence Lesson.

If you are also concerned with today’s soundscape (also in education) and willing to share your ideas on the educational value of silence, then please fill in the questionnaire. This should not take up more than 20 minutes of your valuable time.
