Planting the Seeds of Change in Argentina
Transforming Childhood and Adulthood across Vulnerable Communities in Argentina.
For many families across the country, access to quality early childhood care remains a vital area of support. Since 2007, AMI’s Argentinian affiliate Fundación Argentina María Montessori (FAMM), has been working to strengthen Montessori education for children and caregivers.
Over the past 16 years, FAMM has helped start 60 Montessori programmes, 35 of them in vulnerable settings.
The MoDI (Montessori para del Desarrollo Infantil) Programme for ages 0-3 was developed over eight years and equips individuals, families, and institutions with foundational Montessori principles. It has reached 1,300 children and 570 adults across 23 centres.
