Tim de Haan

After studying history, Tim de Haan worked for about 15 years in the archival field for the City Archives of Rotterdam and the Dutch National Archives. Since spring 2020, he has been working as an advisor for the Netherlands Commission for Unesco, here he deals with documentary heritage, press freedom and press safety, among others. An important part of this is the Unesco Memory of the World programme as well, which focuses on unique documentary heritage, of importance to all of humanity. The programme focuses on the importance of the stewardship, preservation and awareness of this material. For our current generation and for future generations.
